I’m on the track of a second-hand PC. I have located a supplier and will be visiting him after Hogmanay.

Planned schedule for the coming week is as follows:

Sunday 30th – normal*

Monday 31st  – normal

Tuesday 1st January 2013 – off

Wednesday 2nd – normal

Thursday 3rd – normal

Friday 4th – normal

Saturday 5th – normal

PLEASE CHECK FOR AMENDED SCHEDULE ON A DAILY BASIS.

If you hear voice idents (female, American accent) you will know that Echoproducer software is being used. If you hear only CW idents or voice idents with a male voice you will know that basic Echolink sysop software is being used. The latter is more likely until I can get a more up-to-date second-hand PC.

* ‘normal’ means operation at least during the ‘core time’ of 1600z to 2000z. On Wednesdays, if the Perth ARC is meeting, operation continues to 2200z.

I would like users and listeners to let me know how they’re finding the link. How wide is the coverage? Are there any problems? Do you have any comments or requests (such as would you like the link to be connected to something other than the Ireland Conference, or left stand-alone, or perhaps brought on line at a different time for a sked or experimenting)?
